It also carries the name The Entertainment capital of the world as it is well known for big casino hotels and associated activities. Las Vegas flourishes with its riches of glamour and entertainment and is one of the major attractions worldwide. Las Vegas doesn’t stop by its amusing pleasures it also ranks top in providing quality education and College of Southern Nevada and University of Nevada School of Medicine stands for their quality education. They also concentrate much more on their people health as their state of living arouses deadly diseases to the people life. The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services prominently works for the betterment of human lives and support them to lead a healthier life. The human health industrial growth and drug manufacturing for diseases in both technical and non-technical sectors has a greater outreach when compared with the rest of the cities. Public Health Chronic Disease Prevention & Health Promotion in Nevada in the Era of the Affordable Care Act says that the chronic diseases (heart, diabetes, stroke, cancer) is mainly due to tobacco use, poor diet, and physical inactivity. Nevada currently ranks 49^th in state public health spending per capita, 31st in federal funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and 49th in federal funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act created the Prevention and Public Health Fund, a 10-year, $15 billion commitment to support programs, medical screenings, and research related to public health and prevention.
